Safety and Sanitation

safetyCountry Home maintains high standards for safety and cleanliness. Our strong commitment to the health and well-being of our children is exemplified by countless staff requirements and company procedures, some of which are as follows:

  • Country Home maintains a low student-to-teacher ratio to maximize individual attention and supervision.

  • Country Home utilizes a state-of-the-art entry system to monitor those who have access to the center.

  • Each classroom is equipped with a closed-circuit television monitoring system and an intercom system to provide additional visual supervision and allow instant communication with the front desk.

  • We perform regular maintenance inspections on all areas of our facility, playgrounds, and vehicles. (Country Home's maintenance crew visits weekly to perform any necessary repairs.)

  • All playgrounds, as well as the Waterpark and Splash Deck, are designed with safety as a priority and include protective fencing, designated fall zones and age-appropriate equipment.

  • Our vans and buses are professionally cleaned on a regular basis. Each vehicle is equipped with first-aid supplies, fire extinguishers, a mobile telephone and emergency information on each child riding in the vehicle.

  • Our housekeeping staff cleans the facility daily. Special cleaning services, including carpet cleaning, are performed on a regular basis as well.

  • Air filters are changed at least monthly, and we utilize a professional monthly pest control service.

  • All staff members are certified in CPR and First-Aid.

  • Fire evacuation and severe weather drills are performed on a regular basis.

  • Frequent hand washing by both staff and children is a top priority.

  • Our staff members clean and disinfect changing mats after every diaper change.

  • Toys and sleeping equipment are disinfected on a regular schedule, as well as when the situation warrants.
